A traditional part of each corn roast is a candy scramble for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren . . . as long as they are still children (so I had to tell Brent to leave the candy for the little kids). This year they divided the children by ages to make it a little less chaotic!

It's amazing how much fun picking things up can be when you're picking up something sweet to eat! Now if I could just figure out how to accomplish the same thing when it comes to cleaning up the playroom! ;)

The kids had the floor completely cleaned up in no time at all!
