When you eat turkey, do you like white meat or dark meat the best? That's the question of the day! We're conducting a poll and want to know what your favorite is! You can leave a comment with your vote right here on Mommy's blog. Please note that Mommy checks all comments before they go on her blog -- she says it's called "moderating" -- and so you won't see your comment right away, but don't worry! She'll get it up as fast as she can.
We will be using this data in our Thanksgiving lapbooks -- and we'll even make a graph to show our results. Mommy will also post the results here next week. Now we know you're all busy getting ready for Thanksgiving (at least Mommy is), but we will be closing the polls on Sunday, November 30th! Kyle likes dark and light. Auntie likes like though dark is more moist. Uncle Peter likes both, Katy like whatever anyone will feed her, and Kyle thinks Ryan likes light and dark meat. (Ryan is outside playing so he isn't available for consultation.

I really prefer the taste of dark meat...it's never dry like white meat sometimes is. But doesn't really matter which, as long as some of it ends up on my plate. Poor little turkey! :o)

Honestly, I probably prefer the dark meat, even though I know that the white meat is better for you! I usually take a little of both. (I guess that is a vote for the dark meat.) Happy Thanksgiving!

I like dark meat. I am not real fond of turkey, but I do like it with gravy and or in a sandwich. I sometimes use a roll at the table on thanksgiving to make the sandwich. :-)

Definitely and unapologetically white meat!! Preferably leftover and cold from the fridge. Ooh, and on a slice of homemade wheat bread, with a dollop of ranch dip on top. Hmmm, needs one more piece of bread. Yep, that's it, WHITE meat!

ReplyDeleteI like white meat when eating the turkey hot from the oven. I'll do a mix when making left over sandwiches and I'm perfectly happy with dark in other leftover recipes (like soup). But put my vote in for white! :)
